Tomato Pie Now Officially Bringing East Coast Pizza Flavors to South Pasadena
The popular delivery joint opens up in South Pas.
There’s a new Tomato Pie in town. Well, in Pasadena at least.
The popular local mini-chain that touts itself as a true East Coast pizza option has officially set downroots on Mission in South Pas. Tipsters first noticed the signage last week, but it now looks like their Yelp page is up and running (five stars! seven reviews!).
The space itself is clean, functional and just the right amount of fun — well, considering it was a drape-heavy fabric store or something beforehand. A long, colorful plastic booth runs along the open brick wall, giving way to two-tops and small stools. There are a few larger tables for bigger parties, but here it’s mostly about the brick and tile. Tomato Pie’s designers also seem to have injected some more light into the room, which was previously pretty dark and heavy.
Hours for Tomato Pie’s latest South Pasadena location run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with delivery to boot.
