American Tea Room Shutters Beverly Hills Location for Remodel, Prepares for Newport Beach Debut
The Arts District location is holding it down for the luxury tea retailer.
Tea connoisseur David Barenholtz’s ultra hip American Tea Room brought luxury teas to the heart of Beverly Hills before opening up in the Arts District. Now the original 401 N. Canon Drive location is boarded up as the brand undergoes a major revamp in order to more closely align with the Art District branch’s contemporary digs.
Tea fanatics need not fret though, as American Tea Room Arts District is still pouring rare teas and slinging brunch, lunch, and pastries that come by way of Valerie Gordon of Valerie Confections. Furthermore, the premium tea shop will open its third location in Newport Beach’s Fashion Island in early December, giving Orange County locals a nice way to warm up as temperatures continue to drop.
American Tea Room Beverly Hills will reopen in early 2016.
