USC Beauty Buffs on a Budget Can Now Get Luxe Facials at This Affordable Skincare Spa
Hey Trojans, here’s some Beauty 101: All of that study sesh caffeine ain’t so great for your epidermis, and while you might lose sleep over wallet woes and endless exams, at least your skin won’t looked super stressed. Budget-strapped students can now treat their visages on a dime at Face Haus, which opened its fourth fast facial bar in LA just north of campus at USC Village.
Fresh off its Santa Monica début and just in time for fall pampering, the affordable skincare spa landed at the massive $700 million South LA development at the end of August. Face Haus’ 40-minute facials are just $65, which amounts to — and we’re totally guessing here — approximately 16.25 sugary coffee drinks from Starbucks or, well, $65 of random dorm stuff you didn’t need at Target. (Both student staples are also located at the Village.)
On the menu are FH’s signature treatments designed for all skin types, including the glow-giving Haus Special, the acne-targeting Spotless Reputation, the sun spot-reducing Bright Side, and the just-for-dudes Best Man. There’s also a variety of add-ons for scoring an A+ in skincare, like $70 LED treatments (which help stimulate collagen and elastin production and reduce the appearance of scars); $10 boosts for your eyes, lips, and pores; vitamin A peels for $20; and microdermabrasion for $30; and facial hair waxing for $10 to $20, to name a few.
For those looking for extra skin credit, there’s also the $95 United We Smooth facial designed by celebrity-beloved dermatologist Dr. Harold Lancer — yep, you can pamper yourself like Oprah, Jennifer Aniston, or a Kardashian without spending like a A-lister.
Face Haus is open from 10am to 8pm daily; (855) 550-4287.
