Ludo Lefebvre Starts Rocking Fried Chicken at Universal CityWalk on Saturday
Here comes LudoBird
After a swift turnaround up at Universal CityWalk, it seems that this coming weekend will be the first official opportunity to enjoy Ludo Lefebvre and his signature brand of fried chicken at the popular LudoBird. Signage has been up since last last year, but per this post from Ludo’s own restaurant Facebook, Saturday at 11 a.m. marks the official grand debut.
Of course it’s not the first ever LudoBird in existence, what with the Staples Center option still going strong, but this location inside the tourist-rich Universal complex should provide a strong sense of scalability for the brand. It’s a ‘make it here you can make it anywhere’ sort of place, built on doing lots and lots of orders every day. It’s also a smart move for Ludo as a brand, by continuing to showcase his for-the-people attitude, something which may be less present at restaurants like the ticketed, tasting menu Trois Mec.
Expect LudoBird to keep daily lunch through dinner hours once it gets up to full speed, slinging those famous fried chicken sandwiches for the masses.
