Nick + Stef’s Gets a Glorious Modern Refresh in Downtown’s Bunker Hill

The revered steakhouse comes back to life.

Back in May, the Patina Group’s own Nick + Stef’s Steakhouse decided to take a little break following a 15 year Downtown run as one of the city’s pre-eminent chop shops. The plan was to rehab and revamp both the menu and the interior, with an eye towards keeping up with the many restaurants suddenly flooding the city.

Well back they are, sporting the sort of timelessly gorgeous steakhouse interior that LA hasn’t seen since The Arthur J in Manhattan Beach. The Christian Schnyder-designed restaurant immediately returns as a powerhouse player Downtown, with its tableside salads, oysters, and house dry-aged prime steak cuts.
