Already hopping with quality concepts, from ShopHouse to North Italia to True Food Kitchen, the South Bay shopping center is soon to receive Paul Hibler’s all-day bakery-focused option, which currently exists as a flagship in Venice, though a Pasadena annex has been long in the works.

Where to Brunch This Weekend: Superba Food & Bread

When Superba Food & Bread opened in 2014, it was a boon to an otherwise food-devoid stretch of Lincoln Boulevard in Venice. It didn’t take too long for people to take notice of all the house-baked breads and pastries, the healthy foods, rotisserie meats, excellent wine list and coffee program, however. Especially for weekend brunch, which often sees lines out the door and plenty of people milling about the parking lot (that they even have one is amazing), waiting for their turn to fuel up on things like toast covered with cheesy soft scrambled eggs or kale, housemade granola, and warm grain bowls with jam, and linguiça and egg breakfast sandwiches.
